12 of Chicago’s best spots for brunch
Ready for an omelette or a slice of avocado toast stacked with toppings? As restaurants slowly reopen to the public for dine-in service, we're starting to see some brunch menus return to the regular rotation, while others are going digital with new pickup and delivery options available. Head to one of these 12 delicious brunch spots for a morning (or afternoon) meal that will leave you smiling.
Hands on with Divvy’s new e-bikes
A handful of slick, black e-bikes officially joined Divvy’s fleet last week, and we were lucky enough to take one for a ride. After cruising through the streets on the zippy, electric set of wheels we jotted down 6 takeaways from our first Divvy e-bike ride. Keep your eyes peeled—more of the bikes are slowly being rolled out to docks throughout the city.
The weekend ahead
EAT: Sample thick yet airy Sicilian-style pizza by the slice from the alley walk-up counter at Pizza Friendly Pizza, which opened last week in Ukrainian Village.

DRINK: Make the most of the hot August weather with slushies at Saint Lou’s Assembly’s back patio, where you’ll find passionfruit, mint-and-cucumber or classic frosé flavors.

DO: Hop in your car and watch the fierce stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race perform a live Drive ‘N Drag show onstage in Soldier Field’s South Parking Lot.
