Perhaps you recall the Mandarin duck—also known as "hot duck"—who set up shop in Central Park two years ago. The bird, who's native to East Asia, caught the whole city off guard with his arrival and turned his New York stay into a media sensation. Now, he's going to be a literary star in Bette Midler’s forthcoming picture book.

Noon: Catch the New York City Ballet’s final virtual access workshop for children with disabilities. Every session includes a warm-up followed by choreography inspired by some of the ballet's most celebrated performances. (Ages 4–12)
Thursday
5:30pm: Time to explore the cosmos! The Intrepid is hosting a virtual astronomy live event this week. The focus will be on the visualization of spaceflight experiences.
Friday
11am–8pm: Check out the New-York Historical Society’s recently opened outdoor exhibit, “Hope Wanted: New York City Under Quarantine.”

1pm: Go on a virtual field trip with the Museum of Natural History. All of those who tag along this week will learn about comets.
