What will Phase 4 reopening in NYC mean for families?
We New Yorkers can be a bit impatient. Phase 3 of reopening is currently underway, but we’re already curious to see what Phase 4 has in store for us and our kiddos. Low-risk arts and entertainment attractions will start reopening during this time, and we’re already thinking about our favorite family spots. Here’s what to expect during Phase 4
What to do this weekend
Fri 1pm Field trip: Manhattanhenge 2020
Get ready for Manhattanhenge on Saturday and Sunday. The Museum of Natural History will celebrate the occasion with a watch party on Friday at 1pm with guidance from astrophysicist Jackie Faherty.
Fri-Sun Catch a movie under the stars at one of these 18 great drive-in theaters in and near NYC!

This weekend Grab a scoop of ice cream: Van Leeuwen just debuted limited-time summer flavors!

Right now Catch the highly-anticipated revival of Ann M. Martin’s coming-of-age series The Baby-Sitters Club on Netflix. Plus, there are plenty of other fun movies and TV shows hitting the streaming service this month.

Good news, New Yorkers: Your favorite outdoor oasis, Governors Island, is reopening to the public on July 15. Although there are some changes to the 2020 schedule and hours of operation, there’s still plenty to enjoy while visiting. Have a look at our favorite activities for kids.
