Get reacquainted with your
favorite animals
Don’t get us wrong—we love tuning in to a zoo livestream, but we’ve missed seeing our favorite animals in person. Fortunately, the Wildlife Conservation Society just released reopening plans for its attractions across the city, including the Bronx Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo and New York Aquarium. We’ll catch you by the red pandas!

The great outdoors
Families: Check out this new summer spot!
Brooklyn Bridge Park just opened over three acres of new parkland at the Pier 2 Uplands, and the 6,300-square-foot lawn and 1,000-plus trees make for a perfect (socially-distanced) outdoor escape. Plus, its new splash pad will keep little park-goers busy during the dog days of summer! Be sure to check out our favorite outdoor activities while you’re at it.

What will it take to open New York schools
this fall?
Last week, Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chancellor Richard Carranza announced that the new academic year will consist of a “blended learning” module, meaning that NYC students will be learning remotely and in-person.

This week, Governor Andrew Cuomo released a data-driven plan that schools will need to follow in order to reopen.
